about phool

Phool is an Indian biomaterials startup that is doing its part in cleaning up the River Ganga by collecting the flowers from temples and mosques dumped into the river and recycling them to produce more eco-friendly products. It is a for-profit company that works with Dalit women to upcycle floral waste into high-margin products including incense sticks, organic compost, and biodegradable substitute for Styrofoam.

Vision & Mission

Phool.co mission is loud and clear by how they work. Their mission reads, “Our mission is to repurpose the waste coming from places of worship, it was the birth of Phool.” The company visions itself as empowering vulnerable people and preserving the river Ganges from pollution

Mindmap

Ideation

I combined 2 major aspects of that brand in the visual and typography.
The first aspect is the empowerment that the brand provides to the women of discriminated groups. The second aspect is the river Ganga that they aim to preserve which will be depicted throughout the campaign, by showing its course and the cities through which it flows such as Rishikesh, Prayagraj etc..
Additionally, the sustainable aspect will be shown by using recycled paper as the background of the entire campaign.

conceptualization

‘The Box that Brings Colour to Her Life’
The concept depicts the brand as the reason why there is prosperity in the lives of hundreds of underprivileged women as well as one of the reasons why the Ganga is flourishing today, and that without it, everything would be dull and lifeless.

what i learned

An inspiring journey was put in place as Phool Campaign Design is concerned. These are the lessons I derived from it.

Creativity: It is important to consolidate creativity into every component of the campaign design to make it distinctive and outstanding.

Storytelling: The visual representation and design elements used for this campaign were crafted very well and made a strong point about what the campaign wanted to communicate.

Audience Connection: Therefore, I had to know my audience so that I could design something that will resonate with them easily.

Brand Consistency: This way, the campaign matched its own image and value system, by preserving brand identity consistently.

Adaptability: The ability to adapt quickly by accepting feedback or changing needs helped me grow progressively.
