about sikkim

Sikkim in East India, is a mountainous border state in the Himalayan foothills. It is a place of outstanding natural beauty. The steep, snow-capped mountains will take your breath away, not just figuratively because of the view, but also literally due to their altitude. Streams and waterfalls that will have you reaching out to your camera can be found at every turn of the winding roads.
Apart from its natural beauty, Sikkim has much to offer. Monasteries offer you a glimpse of Tibetan Buddhist culture. The food, reflecting Tibetan and Nepali cultures, is excellent.

the problem

Although Sikkim is a state with a rich cultural history and beautiful natural landscapes, but because of its large population and unforgiving terrain many of its inhabitants migrate to other regions to earn a better living.
The state also lacks a common identity to unite the tourism industry of the state which hinders the trust of potential tourists.

the solution

Promoting tourism in to the state and providing incentives to local people to use the trademark would not only ensure authenticity but would also encourage them to remain in the business.
Providing them with the opportunity to make tourism a legitimate source of income, would not only increase their income and provide employment but also preserve the culture and traditions of the state.

By delving into the vicinity’s rich records, diverse landscapes, and vibrant way of life, I found a way to craft a cohesive emblem identity that resonates with travellers and evokes a feeling of interest and journey
